The Infinity Dreams Award

Hello everyone. So for this post, I have been nominated by Jesalin @ JBelkBooks for the Infinity Dreams Award. I’m not sure what this award is about exactly but I will take it so thank you Jesalin for nominating me.

Rules? Yes, there are rules so here it is if you’ve been tagged by me or anyone else you know who has tagged you for The Infinity Dreams Award so here are the rules.

1. Thank the person(s) who have tagged you and follow them right after.

2. Tell 11 things about yourself. It could be anything you want to tell the world…if you’re comfortable about that.

3. Answer the questions that the one who tagged you has left for you on his or her award.

And 4. Tag 11 bloggers and leave out your questions that you want them to answer.

So I have done the first rule. *check* Then the second rule, I have leave out not exactly 11 facts but 14 facts about me that I put in my About Me page so check that out. Does that count? Oh well. *check* And now, answering the questions.

1.) Would you rather read one book a year and remember everything or read 100 books a year and remember nothing?

Um…reading 1 book a year. I cannot handle just reading a 100 books a year. I have other things to do and reading kind of takes away my homework time or blogging time (though I need to in order to blog).

2.) What is one of your favorite novels from your preferred genre?

The Start of Me and You Cover

I liked reading contemporary a bit more than fantasy because it’s where I can ship two characters more often within that genre. I LOVE Emery Lord’s book, The Start of Me and You. Just read it. I literally enjoyed everything there is, even the most dramatic scenes in it. I didn’t get the chance to read her other book, Open Road Summer but I will. I promise.

3.) Do you eat or drink when you are reading? If so, what?

Here’s the thing, when I eat while reading, it’s really hard to keep your page intact as I eat chips or any other snack I eat when I get home from school. Also, eating does makes me distracted while reading because it’s food. Simply delicious food I want to savor.

4.) Are you taking part in the Goodreads Reading Challenge? If so, what is your goal? If not, why? If you don’t even know what the GR Reading Challenge is, say something random, lol.

You know, before 2016 has begun, I’ve been trying to get my GR Reading Challenge to 50 books since last year, which I have made it up to 10-ish since I do slack off many times, so I tried to get myself to be prepared for this year would be the year I’ll make it to 50 books. But…I feel like with school and blogging and other stuff I do at home and elsewhere, I felt less confident with my challenge, which I think was the main problem of why I don’t succeed my Reading Challenge: that I have the other things in my life I need to finish up. So I decided to put 1 book for this year (you thought I’m not doing it this year? Well, you’re wrong, my friend), which I have succeeded now so I don’t need to worry about it now and I’ll get back to my regular schedule.

5.) Since it is the beginning of January, what is one resolution you have for the new year (book related, blog related, life related, etc.)?

I actually want to read this year’s debuts because I’m so confident with this year’s debut authors’ debut novel will be awesome, spectacular, and to-die-for. Some of my most anticipated debut novels include, Into the Dim, Firsts, Underwater, Fear the Drowning Deep, The First Time She Drowned, The Year We Fell Apart (bring on the tears), A Study in Charlotte, Ever the Hunted, A Shadow Bright and Burning, Timekeeper, and lastly, but not certainly the least, The Star-Touched Queen. They’re my go-to books once they’re released to be reallllly honest.

6.) Mountains or Beaches?

Beaches of course!!! If you live in Southern California, then you know you need the beaches. Just looking at that beautiful sunset, just reading a book under the sun, the strong breeze blowing at you, it’s the true feeling of summer. Or that’s what I think about beaches because from where I live is about 30 minutes away and you know how packed it is, which is why there is hardly any parking there.

7.) If there was a fire and you could only save one book, what book would that be and why?

Um…nope!!! I will never answer that, ever! I need all of my babies *ahem* I mean my books.

8.) What do you do in your free time besides blog & read?

Eat, watch, and sleep. It’s what we all need.

9.) What are five things that make you happy?

Books, my friends, my family, book smelling, and going to Barnes and Noble.

10.) Have you ever wanted to change your name? If so, to what?

I don’t really think about a lot but I kind of want to since I find my name a bit weird if my name is in a book cover, but I don’t know what my new name is, as well.

11.) What song is currently your favorite?

Can I just say I loved all of the songs from the new Panic! at the Disco album. I LOOOOVVVVEEEE IT!!! Best song(s) from the album? Gotta say House of Memories, Golden Days, and LA Devotee.

So now, I’m going to tag 11 bloggers to do this award but if you’re not tagged, don’t worry. Feel free to do this tag if you want to.

2) How do you balance your time reading and blogging with other things you do (school, work, personal things, etc.) every day?

3. Which books/series would you recommend if someone wants to read in the fantasy genre? Contemporary? And how about Middle Grade/New Adult/Adult?

4.What is your biggest bookish pet peeve?

5. Any other hobbies/talents you have that’s outside blogging or reading?

6. Give me your favorite book cover of all time.

7.What are some of the shows you have binge-watched?

8. Do you go to book signings? If so, who are the few you have met?

9. How would you react if you are meeting any favorite author?

10. Which season is the best and why?

11. Favorite place that you could call it your second home?

And that’s all I have to say and see you next time.

  1. Haha, great responses! I also am excited for this year’s debut authors and their upcoming content, especially The Year We Fell Apart, Firsts, and Underwater. Oh, & I live in CA but on the west side, lol. But I do appreciate the beaches in my area 🙂
